Come on people! Some time this year!
Plz. make a app. that lets you watch flash video that are on 85% of the web pages. Whats the point of going to the real web pages (not moble) if you cant wqatch the videos like on fox news or cnn .
Flash Player 10 to be released by the end of 2009, possibly by Oct. It will release for Windows Mobile, WebOS, and others, but not for the iPhone
we need flash player bad!
I would like an App where I can keep track of my score on the Golf course.

Check this out people. There is a way to get over 140 apps for the Pre and the list is still growing daily. These are Homebrew apps. That basically means that they are made by people just like us. Go to this website and there are step by step instructions on how to get these apps. Take it from me, it’s way worth it.

Come on people at sprint or Palm, it doesn’t take this long to come up with the apps that we need like forwarding text messaging !! Flash player !! etc.

sorry but the palm pre sux.. Apps are a joke, I was always in roaming, but now with blackberry I never am??? The battery is HORRIBLE.. I went through a full charge in 2 hours only by texting 1 person back and forth… Maybe in time the phone will be ready, but not now>>>
t-mobile and i-phone have apps where u can see what friends u have on exbox live….i wanna do the same this is suppose to be the best phone out
Please have a Bible app, where one can search for specific Bible Phrase/Keywords and specific passages. PLEASE PLEASE… King James version, New Living Translation etc. I will pay big bucks for this
dude this isnt that old of a phone like the iphone is. you cant expect there to be all those apps when this phone is so recent and just a little bit ago started using third party apps.

Ii really don’t mean to get up here and say the same as many ppl have, but come on sprint if you wanna be the best. All you gotta do is give the ppl what they like, don’t get me wrong the phone is bad ass but. It can get very tired after awhile. Like I’m telling you if you got more on line game play apps. I would never put my phone down. Come on its not hard to upload 2 or 3 apps a week. This is what you guys do. So keep us on our toes.
I miss my palm solitaire game!!! alot!! PLease give us a plain ol’ solitaire game to pass the time- Seems all the card games are betting games - even the new word ace!!
i want some good games man i though buying this phone would give me more to do i am bored as hell with the palm pre the web is great but that is where it ends should end my contract with sprint and get the iphone it is more money a month but worth it at least i wont wast my time just waiting for apps thay will already be there
you all should of just gotton the iphone. i made the same mistake with the instinct. been over a year and still no descend apps. i cant wait till my contract ends. sprint sucks and there phones also sucks
Text message forwarding is avaliable on the Palm Pre. You just have to know what you are doing.
You can add your own sounds, ringtones, etc… Just connect to Mac/PC/Whatever as USB disk, then drop your MP3-formatted sound files in the proper directory (i.e. /Ringtones).
I personalized my ringtone that way. Took about 5 minutes, including converting a .wav to an .mp3
Ok, so there’s nothing in ANY of the categories I looked under.
Will someone tell me why I should spend my money on the Pre when there are no apps available?
I love and hate this phone. Love the amazing things it can do, but hate the battery life and the simple things that a phone does, like change to text message tone, have different tones for txts or emails and also i agree that forwarding a txt should just be a no brainer!
JUST WONDERING…WHEN ARE WE GONNA BE ABLE TO SHOOT VIDEO? THAT AND A FLASH PLAYER ARE THE 2 THINGS I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE B4 THE YEAR IS OVER….

The phone can already do a lot of the stuff you like. You can assign your own custom ringtones you make on your computer.
I do agree that we need more apps, but they’re coming. I wish there was some kind of flashing news bar or way to know when new apps have been added to the phone.
need new apps,can’t forward text,battery life sucks,no camcorder,no good ringtones,and very few palm pre cases/pouches avalible. why did I buy this phone again?????
VIDEO CAMERA!!!! the pre lacks one of the most important things and that is the video camera if you can make that app that would be the most popular thing on the pre so far
I would love to have the ability to give different functions, like text and email, their own sounds. I also want to see video and I would love if this app for the on-screen keyboard would come out!

needs a better music player - ptunes on centro was better - played std music file formats and displayed them sorted in the same folders that I put them in
palm pre needs a flash player and an app so I can watch attachments on my emails, also a sports app so i can keep track of hockey scores

Just got the Palm Pre,, I don’t like the single tap to run apps,, It should be 2 taps,, 1 to highlight the app and another tap to run it. I keep opening apps, and calling someone by accident.

Am i the only one that wishes for a decent remote desktop app? i run a server at home and my old win mobile phone could remote desktop quite nicely, switched to blackberry curve, and had a few different apps, all horrible. A VNC or terminal services app would be great.

I strongle agree with both these guys! what was I thinking when I gave up my samsung exclam for this palm pre! it sucks! needs these apps bad!!
What we need is an app for the Pre to be able to Force Roaming that would be lovely i know they have this app coming out for the HTC HERO which i just left to come to the Pre Team i hope im not going to regret it.
Wow, I am very disappointed in this phone. We need apps to run my business. should have chose the iphone. I am a realtor and iphone has tons of apps for realtors, such as mortgage calculator, amortiziation, neighborhood information, mls. Please we cant even forward a text message. Get it together man!

I remember over a month or so ago, Palm released a statement declaring that they “were not in an apps arms race with anyone else.” I guess they meant that they were not trying to compete to have great numbers of high quality apps for their phone. If this is the case, then I wonder what’s the point of buying a palm pre if you can go online and get a “full web experience” on just about any web enabled phone out there.
I was very excited last june when the pre came out, but all I see on the catalogs are really lame apps like word ace, checkers, etc. (Yes, I know there’s also pandora, fandango, stock tickers, flight status, and the like but what about productivity and work oriented tools that are marketed to creative types?)
